New reads coming coming from Jaxx Steele!

Coming Soon!

Victor Bradley was raised by a tree sprite after the death of his parents. When he became an adult he moved to the city, but the pull of the forest never left his heart. He took a leave of absence to take care of the only mother he ever knew, but was it his concern for her that brought him back to the forest or was it fate?

Leaving New York was the hardest thing Dana Scott had to do. Although 911 had taken the love of his life leaving him alone everything he had left was there. Time had eased the pain in his heart, but he had decided not to take another lover.
Francisco de la Fuenta was a charming, charismatic, social butterfly that men and women loved to be around. He had everything a man of his caliber could want, a great social life, his own business and true friends. What he didn't have, he didn't know he wanted until Dana Scott entered his life.

Keeping you posted!

Don't know if anyone is actually seeing this, but I did say I would keep up with it. I am committed to posting at least twice a week, possibly more as info comes in, but definitely twice. I don't know which days that will be, but it will take place during the calendar week (Sun-Sat). Keeping with my promise I thought I would update you on accepted contracts.

Silver Publishing, (home of Marked for Life) has accepted Claiming Cupid. Coming Valentine's Day, 2011, cover pending. Here is the blurb:

Daniel was sick and tired of Max’s ‘boyfriends’ dogging him. He thought Max deserved better and wanted him to be his man so he could treat him better, but was afraid to jeopardize their friendship by making any unwanted moves. When Max broke up with his latest lover the day before Valentine's Day, Daniel could take it no more. He put a plan of action in place to claim and protect the heart of his old friend.

Talk more later!

Happy New Year!

Jaxx Steele here drama free and ready to roll into 2011 full speed ahead!
I have every intention on keeping up with this blog this year. I know I slipped in the past. My only excuse is that I just got too busy to commit and that's a lame excuse. Therefore, it is a new day and I have new tactics in place! I am back to stay Jaxx Steele readers!
Here's how I'm kick starting this year:
January 2011:
Sadly I have nothing coming out in Janusry, but feel free to check out my end of the year releases!

October 2010:

Indian Blood Moon
available at Phaze
Small town reporter Dante Tyler lives his mundane life wishing for something more. When he was sent to cover a Halloween party for his newspaper he finds that the most horrible encounter of his life turns out to be the best thing that ever happened to him.

November 2010:
Healing the Beast Within:
available at Phaze
Cursed for a crime he did not commit, Keith Turner had given up on love. Even after making that decision, he still spent every night being tortured. His brother Kevin was confident that they could find a way to break the curse, but it wasn’t until Keith met Marcello that he ever took Kevin’s ideas to heart.

December 2010:
Christmas Nick for Everyone:
available at Phaze
It was Christmas time again and Evan was celebrating the same ole way. Not hanging with the fellas or enjoying a secret Santa exchange at a party, but back at his sister’s house. This year, however, would be a little different for Evan. This year he would learn that being a Good Samaritan had tangible benefits as well.

The Gift that keeps on Giving:
available at Red Rose Publishing
Lovell Johnston was home for the holidays when he met Avery Lockhart. He had made up his mind a long time ago that when he got into another relationship it was going to last. Avery was perfect for him everything he could ask for in a man. He was handsome, educated, sexy, available and totally interested in him. The only thing was Lovell lived in the city and Avery lived in his home town. Would the distance and fear of being a holiday booty call be enough to keep them apart when all they wanted to do was be together?

February 2011:

Marked for Life

Victor Bradley was raised by a tree sprite after the death of his parents. When he became an adult he moved to the city, but the pull of the forest never left his heart. G’day from Down Under!

The idea behind author blog exchanges is to meet people and widen your circle of friends, so that’s what I thought I’d blog about today.
It’s such a small world now days. Once people rarely had the opportunity to meet and befriend people from other cultures and countries unless they were lucky enough to travel, but with the advent of the internet, the whole world is now at our fingertips…literally!
I look at my writing and although Fallout, my new release is set in Australia and has Australian Characters, I also write stories using other nationalities. I have a team of US Marines in a linked series that will hopefully be published in the near future and it always gets people curious as to why I used Marines…well why not? What’s not to love about a Marine?! The uniform, the discipline, the uniform, the history….the uniform!!!!!!
Fallout though, is based on an Australian soldier, who has been wounded and newly released from Army life…have you figured out I have a military theme going in my writing yet?!
It also has Tully-- a Detective in big trouble! Who is not about to sit back and let any man—especially a sexy, sure of himself ex-soldier step in and rescue her. This is one damsel more at home with causing distress to bad guys, then waving a lace handkerchief for help.
If you’d like to read an except, you can head over to my blog and take a look. You’ll find a more in-depth introduction to the characters and a trailer for Fallout.
A big thanks to Jaxx, for having me here and allowing me the opportunity to tell you a little bit about my new release, Fallout- released 17th February 2010.

Happy New Year!

The Daddy series is here for your reading pleasure!

Book I: I saw Daddy kissing Santa Claus
Ray and Dexter went to bed early after hosting a Christmas Eve gathering at their home. Dex wakes up in the middle of the night to find Ray sitting in Santa's lap kissing. He is usually the one being kissed and feels the green eyed monster starting to take over. Has Dex been a good enough boy to be invited to join Santa and Ray or does he blow his top and bounce Santa back up the chimney?

Book II: Midnight Daddy
Dex had a surprise all ready to go to celebrate New Year's Eve with his daddy dom, Ray: champagne outside by the new fire pit watching the fireworks at midnight. But the arrival of Ray's friends and the plan for an impromptu New Year's party shut down Dex's surprise. Dex was prepared to let it go so that Ray could enjoy the night with his friends, but Dex had no idea that his daddy had plans to enjoy making fireworks of his own with Dex instead.

Get yours here and look out for book III Valentine's 2010: Cupid's Daddy!

REC Awards

Hey everyone!
The REC Awards are up and running for the month of November. I saw that 2 of my Dreamspinner Press books are up for awards: my main character from Right Side of the Tracks, Russell Drake, is up for sexy male lead and my short story, By the Moonlight is up for paranormal short. Papa knows Best, from Phaze, is also nominated for best erotic novel.
Please go by and support the awards so that they will continue next year. Thanks!
